Is Idaman Suri Premixes halal?
Yes. It is certified halal and produced by local manufacturer using original, safe and halal ingredients.
How spicy is the premix mixture?
The spices mixed ingredients are just of the right amount of spices. The spicy taste can be reduced by adding more water for lighter gravy. For spicier taste, add fresh chili in its garnishing or chili powder.
The portion is too big, can it be reduced?
Since every pack is for a portion of 6 to 8 person, it can be cooked in smaller portions with half of the premix.
How long will Idaman Suri last after it is opened?
The remaining powder can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container for 3 months from the date it was opened.
Will the premix burn once it is stir fried?
Please read the instructions properly. The powder premix must be mixed with water before stir frying. If the powder is put directly into the hot oil this dry powder will burn in your pan or pot.
Can the premixes be mixed with other ingredients such as spices, raw ingredients or liquid?
Depending on your creativity and cooking knowledge, the premix can be used to cook other amazing dishes such as Pajeri Nenas/Terung, Nasi Bukhari, Gulai Ikan Tongkol and others recipes as well.
Yogurt is among the main ingredients, what are the alternatives for milk intolerance individual?
For milk intolerance consumers we recommend you refrain from consuming this product or seek medical advise on yogurt consumption.
What kind of flame should be used during cooking?
When stir frying the premix paste, the heat should be medium until the paste becomes fragrant. After adding water, the heat can be increased slightly until the gravy boils. However, we recommend that the heat be maintained at medium flame at all times.
If the gravy dries up, what should be done?
Lower the heat and add a little amount of water to get back the gravy consistency.
Will the fish curry premix apply with other seafood or the meat rendang premix and meat kurma premix be cooked with other meats such as beef, duck, pork, mutton, venison or just vegetables?
Being creative with the premixes can produce lots of other great dishes. Other meats or seafood can be used using the same cooking method but some meat will need different methods of cooking. Please adjust accordingly.
